It is located under the cliffs de Famara, which is why it is part of the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park. It is a lonely beach with difficult access, it can only be reached by boat or by descending a path known as the Los Gracioseros path that lasts almost 1 hour, from the town of Yé, in the top of the Risco de Famara.
Once on the beach, almost 1km long, we can observe some spectacular views; In front, separated by El Río (an arm of the sea that separates Lanzarote from La Graciosa) we can see the islets of La Graciosa, Montaña Clara and Alegranza; and behind us we can delight in the imposing figure of the Risco de Famara.
At one of its extremes we find some beautiful salt pans already abandoned, which are considered the oldest in the Canary Islands, since the first known references date back to the 15th century.
This is a very lonely and totally isolated beach of golden sand, where we may be the only visitors. Ideal to unwind and for moments of relaxation.
Some days it becomes a dangerous beach due to the currents, becoming a beach with ideal conditions for surfing.
