The House of the Volcanoes is a Volcano Center of Scientific, Cultural, Pedagogical and Tourist interest that belongs to the network of Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Hon. Cabildo of Lanzarote.
You are located in the MalpaÃs de la Corona Natural Park, on a volcanic tube, in the section known as Jameos del Agua. Its facilities currently occupy 2,500 meters, distributed over two floors, and its objective is cultural and educational dissemination, as well as such as scientific promotion in the field of Volcanology.

Installations
- JAMEOS DEL AGUA: Part of the volcanic tunnel of the Corona Volcano. Tourist Center of the Cabildo de Lanzarote in operation since 1969. The Casa de los Volcanes de Lanzarote has been located in its upper area for 10 years.
- INTRODUCTORY ROOMS: The first two rooms that we find upon entering the House of the Volcanoes artistically inform visitors of important geological facts and the formation of the Islands. Canary Islands.
- TEMPORARY EXHIBITION ROOM: Created by Jesús Soto and César Manrique, it has a diaphanous surface and can be divided into spaces for temporary exhibitions. It houses a rich sample of the main Canarian rocks.
- VOLCANOLOGY ROOM: Constitutes the information core of the Center. Through interactive monitors, the visitor learns some of the main aspects of Canarian and world volcanology.
- CONFERENCE ROOM: The educational activity produces innumerable events every year. For this, it has a modern and complete infrastructure for projections on a giant screen, internet and computer links...
