Located near the tourist town of Costa Teguise, in the municipality of Teguise, is an excellent initiation to volcanoespeleology.

This cave has approximately 160 meters surveyed. It is a small cave with a wide mouth covered with red picón expelled by the volcano.

A volcanic tube of a height between 2 and 3 meters, highlighting a small cathole in the middle of the route with some difficulty and continues with a comfortable tube down until its completion.

No major lateral branches from the main tube, although there are some small ones.

In some of its rooms white predominates, coming from the accumulation of plaster.

Characteristic elements

• Lava drips on the ceiling.
• Accumulations of Calcium Carbonate on the floor.
• Cat flaps with soft walls.
• Catholes with aggressive floor and roof.
• Different levels of stratified volcanic tubes.
