
Located in the imposing fortress of Santa Bárbara on top of the Guanapay volcano. The Castle not only had the mission of being a watchtower from which pirate dangers coming from the sea could be sighted, but its rooms served as a refuge for the population, a dungeon for inmates, and even a military dovecote.
The Museum has been divided into two historical blocks:
