It is one of the calls papagayo beaches, in full Natural Monument of Los Ajaches. It is maybe the most beautiful of all and the one that gives the name to this area. It hides between two cliffs forming a small cove.
It has an extension of approximately 120 meters in length by 20 meters in width. Its golden and fine sand; its calm waters of intense color turquoise blue; the spectacular landscape that surrounds it, with views of the Lobos Island and the neighboring island of Fuerteventuramake this beach an ideal place to spend the day.
It is usually a very visited beach but due to its deep-rooted nudist tradition it is a beach where people who love naturism go, formerly it was an exclusively nudist beach, but now it is a mixed beach.
This beach is located within the Natural Monument of Los Ajaches, an area of special sensitivity, so access to this and all the "Papagayo beaches" has a cost of 3 euros per car for those non-residents.
