Nazaret

Nazaret is located in the center of the island of Lanzarote, between Teguise and Tahiche.  It is a small typical village of Lanzarote full of white houses facing south on the side of a mountain.

History

What to do in Nazaret

The main tourist attraction of Nazaret, and what this small town is actually known for, is the house-cave embedded in the mountain, converted today during the day at the Lagomar museum-restaurant. A strange villa designed by the local architect César Manrique, embedded in a volcanic stone quarry and built with zigzagging stairs and an unusual structure, with a lake, exotic gardens and tunnels.
