The number of paths and trails helped due to the lack of extreme altitudes, and due to the mild climate that Lanzarote has almost all year round, it makes the bicycle an ideal means of touring the island.
This is why the Lanzarote Mountain Bike Routes project has been designed to allow cyclists to get to know and enjoy the island from another perspective that is closer to the reality of the island.
