Los Valles, Ermita de las Nieves

We start the route in the socio-cultural center of Los Valles in opposite direction to the bed of the ravine that crosses the town. During the section that runs through the town it is paved, becoming just another street in the town, but as soon as you leave the town it becomes one of the most beautiful landscapes in Lanzarote.

Following the path that runs through the ravine we arrive at the Ermita de las Nieves, a construction dating from the fifteenth century. In its surroundings there are fruit and potato crops In addition, from its location there are beautiful views of the center of the island of Lancelot. Around the hermitage, the Festival of the Virgen de las Nieves stands out, which is celebrated on August 5 with a pilgrimage with floats and groups folklore from the historic center of the town of Teguise to the Hermitage of the Snows
