This original beach of great beauty is located in the municipality of Yaiza next to the natural area of Las Salinas del Janubio.

It is a windy beach, with strong waves, it measures just under a kilometer and maintains an average width of 30 m. Precautions must be taken to bathe in it due to the force of the sea in the area. It is rarely frequented, so nudism is allowed.

As it is isolated it lacks services and equipment.

What to do

Due to its location, Janubio beach is one more stop on the southern route of Lanzarote, where we can enjoy the volcanic zone of the island, Timanfaya, Los Hervideros, El Golfo and to the impressive landscape of the own and neighboring Salinas de Janubio.

It has a large car park next to a viewpoint from which you can contemplate a beautiful view of the salt flats. Also from the same beach we can enjoy unforgettable sunsets
