This beach is located in the urbanization from Playa Honda, next to Lanzarote Airport, a residential area full of life, but quiet enough and far from the bustling tourist character of Puerto del Carmen.

Framed by an endless promenade, Playa Honda beach offers a peaceful environment ideal for relaxing and practicing water sports.

It is a beach of golden sand and almost 1 km long. It has a wide promenade and adjoining car parks. The width is considerable, almost 200 m in some sections. Its waters are usually calm, although it usually receives a constant wind.

The promenade is an ideal place to walk and run while breathing fresh air. You can find numerous bars and restaurants that are the perfect choice to enjoy the delicious typical Canarian dishes.

What to do

Playa Honda beach has excellent conditions for windsurfing and other water sports thanks to its calm waters and the wind that whips slowly but steadily along the coastline.

It is Recommended for all experience levels. The wind is from the northwest, with strength between 4 and 6 beafore, ideal for practicing slalom
