To start our project we will go to the entrance of Guinate Park, We then take a small detour to the left, go up a small unevenness leaving the Volcán de la Cerca on the right, and to our behind the Corona Volcano.
Finally, we reach Máguez via Calle de la Caldera, with Peñas del Chache in the background.
We continue advancing, crossing farmland and stone buildings, we save a small slope until we find the fork towards the left, which leads us to enjoy the view of the crater of Los Helechos, appreciating how its interior is used for cultivation on terraces.
After returning to the starting point and overcoming the slope, we are offered an excellent panoramic view of La Graciosa, as well as the volcanic cones that surround us.
There are It should be noted that along the way we will see different flowers such as tojio (Nauplius intermedius), lavender (Lavandula pinnata), lamb's tail (Reseda crystallina), poppy (Papaver somniferum).
We continue through an area covered with volcanic sand. The path continues until it reaches the Gallo fountains, which were used for quite some time to supply water to Máguez and Haría, although they are not drinkable now.
In In this area it is possible to see kestrels (Falco tinnunculus), quail (Coturnix coturnix), Turtle Doves (Streptopelia turtur), and on land Haría lizards (Gallotia atlantica), perenquenes (Tarentola angustimentalis), hedgehogs (Atelerix algirius) or rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus).
We pass Gallo and arrive at a wide esplanade. In it, next to the edge of the Risco de Famara, we will find an excellent viewpoint.
We continue our road which later becomes asphalt firm, but before starting the descent we will turn right towards the Cockscomb. From there we can see the Haría Valley, the Atalaya Volcano and the alignment of La Corona, Los Helechos and La Quemadita , which can be accessed through a detour to the left.
