Located in the Risco de Famara, it is accessed by a dirt track of 1.5 km. which begins inside the town of Teguise. Access is simple and only requires the use of a car.

This area, used for days with northerly winds, is the classic flight of Lanzarote, since we will fly over one of the most spectacular areas of the island.

You can follow the slope to the north, which becomes a beautiful cliff that leads to the Mirador del Río and from there, on a good day and with altitude, cross over the sea to the island of La Graciosa, although it is a risky flight, since there is no alternative landing.

Landing can be done about 300 meters in front, just across the road, at the bottom of the takeoff. It is a  Fairly easy landing area, with windsocks marking the direction of the wind.
