The Pool of Clicks, like so. This beach is called, it is located in the west of the Island of Lanzarote, in the municipality of Yaiza. It belongs to the Natural Park of the Volcanoes and its main characteristic is that it is located inside the crater of a volcano.

The most outstanding element of this place is undoubtedly the great Green Lake formed by the outcrop of seawater on the surface through underground cracks, a most beautiful natural accident.

In front of Lago Verde a beautiful natural beach of black sand is formed, about 500 meters long and about 60 m. medium width.

It is a good place to sunbathe in tranquility in a beautiful landscape, but not recommended for swimming, since, as in most of the beaches on the west coast of Lanzarote, the strong currents can be dangerous.

What to do

Giving a little walk, it is likely to find pieces of the green semi-precious stone typical of Lanzarote, olivine, which is used for jewelry creations.

The sunset in El Golfo is a spectacle of colours, an authentic experience of the spirit of Lanzarote. 

You can also enjoy a fabulous evening at the restaurants of the neighboring town of El Golfo, famous for the variety of tapas and fresh fish dishes.
