Situated within a group of chasms ( 7 in total), produced by wastewater captured by the same volcano during its eruption, creating chasms of sinuous character, it is located in the Lanzaroteño municipality of Tinajo, inside the crater of one of the mountains that emerged from the eruptions of Timanfaya between 1730 and 1736.
A volcanic vent that sinks into the ground like a well, with a mouth between 4 and 5 m in diameter and an indeterminate but considerable depth.
