Atlantic Museum of Lanzarote

The  Atlantic Museum is an underwater museum There are more than 300 individual sculptures in a large installation which has provided an ecosystem and a diving point of extraordinary beauty. Made by artist Jason de Caires Taylor in 2016.

The museum is located about 12 meters deep in the clear waters near the south coast of Lanzarote, in the Bay of Las Coloradas, Playa Blanca, an enclave chosen primarily for the physical characteristics of the underwater soil, encompassing an area of 2,500 square meters that will be accessible for scuba divers and divers.

The facilities of the Atlantic Museum are made of harmless materials to the marine ecosystem and the Museum is designed to be in constant flux and change with the dictates of the sea making each visit a unique experience.
